"Being named a Drama Honorable Mention in Screenplay Festival
has netted me more action than any other contest my script won or placed in. The
referrals just keep coming in over a year after the contest, the latest just
today."
Steve Z., Northern Latitude
Honorable Mention Winner, 2005
"While the Screenplay Festival win is in itself no guarantee of success, it has lent credibility to GOLGOTHA and has played a big part in getting it in to the development executives of over thirty-five of the most established film
production companies in Los Angeles, New York and Paris."
Glen Treilhard, Golgotha
Honorable Mention Winner, 2006
"As a result of my placement in Screenplay Festival, I’ve
received several leads from solid producers. And they’ve kept coming. I would
also recommend this contest because they have categories for different genres
and award prizes in each of those categories. Screenplay Festival gives screenplays of any genre a fair shot."
Larry Postel, X-Mas Files
Honorable Mention Winner, 2005
"Since winning Screenplay Festival's Thriller/Horror Grand Prize, I've received so many requests for my script...it's scary! I've always been wary of most of the screenplay contests out there, but Screenplay Festival was definitely worth submitting to."
Tony Sago, Lighthouse
Grand Prize Winner, 2004
"Screenplay Festival's range of categories is a real asset. My
script was a quirky black comedy, and it wouldn't make sense to pit it against a
drama or family film. Thanks for the recognition!"
Nicholas Turner, Hotline Honorable Mention Winner, 2003
